The focus of this series was to emphasize the natural beauty of the material and to gratify the user's comfort to use as well as the finished product that better tools can bring.
I have lived in Iowa for five years, which has taken a certain weight in my 23-year-old life. I know that I will be leaving here one day to embark on a new journey, so I made this butter knife to commemorate this period. The wood used was grown locally in Iowa. They are cherry wood, red oak, and white oak.
